We are so excited to see Marta and William’s stunning winter wedding featured on Be U Weddings today. We so enjoyed working on this wedding and had a really talented group of professionals with us including Heather Parker Photography, Toast and Jam and Scarlet Petal.
We had such an amazing time working with Nikki and Brian to plan their dream wedding!! The weather was perfect (hot, but a really nice lake breeze) and we could not have asked for a more magical group of vendors!! I will save all of the details for a longer blog post once we have the pictures from Megan W Photography (but you can see their adorable engagement pictures here).

It was so exciting to crack open the newest issue of CS Brides. The magazine is always beautiful but there is nothing better than seeing one of our weddings featured! We can hardly believe that Under a New Moon has already happened but it was an exceptional evening filled with love and joy. We are thrilled at all of the press this event has achieved. All of the sponsors worked extremely hard and as we all know, same-sex civil unions have been a long time coming to Illinois!

We love it when we get to see wedding images just days after the event! Andrea and Rob were married this past weekend at St. Benedict’s Parish with a reception at Fulton’s on the River. A special thank you to Jessie and Eric from Simply Jessie Photography for this beautiful blog post. Jessie is right, this was such a fun couple to work with – so laid back and honestly just happy! They were happy to be getting married and it showed. What a joy!!

Even though Chicago decided to give us Winter instead of Spring, I haven’t enjoyed a wedding this much in quite a while. I just completely adore Andrea & Rob. These two just get it. They were so ready to be married. They enjoyed their day. Sounds simple and obvious but these few elements are the key to a wonderful day and unbelievable images. Andrea is just a joy to be around and included me as one of her gals for the day. I am always touched when trusted to walk right into people’s lives and stories.
Andrea and Rob had an amazing team. They had a gorgeous event with stunning florals by Fleur and flawless planning by Heather at Greatest Expectations. Makeup by Andie Cumber.
