Welcome! My name is Heather Lynne Vickery and I am the Owner of Greatest Expectations Special Events & Weddings, Inc., an event planning and design firm based in Chicago. Event planning is truly a labor of love for me and my entire staff. We are passionate about planning exceptional events!
With a background in event design, marketing, hotel sales, catering and non profit event management I bring a wide range of experience to the table. This allows my clients to be 100% confident that I know and understand the industry and am always looking out for their best interest. Our events have ranged from intimate events with less than 40 guests, to beachside luncheons and grand weddings or corporate galas for hundreds of people.

We work with a wide range of fantastic vendors throughout the country that are able to ensure your event has all the qualities of your dreams. Working with Greatest Expectations offers you Peace of Mind! We have a special knack for matching our clients with the right vendor for their tastes, budget and needs. We understand that planning a special event can be a difficult, time consuming and often stressful experience and it is our goal to take away the stress and replace it with a fun, positive experience. Having a special event and wedding planner that knows the industry and what you are going through helps to keep things in perspective.
Whether you are just starting to plan your event or are only a few weeks away, Greatest Expectations can help. All of our packages are customized for each client. We offer a first time consultation meeting in which we sit down and discuss your vision for the event, what your needs are and how a special event and wedding planner can enhance the experience. The level of our involvement depends solely on your needs. Because we feel that each event is unique, we will not force you to conform to a pre-designed package. Together, we will create the perfect package for you. We want your day to be a masterful work, inspired by you and your ideas, and guided by our knowledge and expertise.
