Wedding with the Stars

When we say stars we are talking celestial!  Working with Megan and Eric on their Adler Planetarium wedding was such a treat.  It is not often that we get a chance to go this far “outside the box” with a wedding and it was a blast to plan!

When Megan told me she wanted her colors to be canary yellow, lime green, mango and teal I knew right away that we needed to incorporate BBJ Linens’ stunning Carlisle Lamour linen accented with their Persimmon and Turquoise linens. Natalie from Hello Darling blew us away with the most stunning floral design.  I especially love the tall yellow centerpieces! Everything was beautifully lighted by Len at Chicago Lighting Design.

The ceremony was officiated by the ever talented Bev Albert from Ceremonies for Your Life.  While the plan was to have the ceremony outside on the sundial, the 60 mph gale force winds and rain prevented that. Instead the guests enjoyed the breathtaking sunset from inside the Planetarium.

Following the ceremony guests enjoyed the culinary talents of Food For Thought and then the guests danced the night away to the rockin’ sounds of The Chicago Catz.

This is a total visual treat so I hope you enjoy it!  A special thanks to Eric from SnoStudios for these amazing images.

From wedding party flowers and the stunning cake made by Amy Beck Cake Design to the gorgeous lighting and decor, late night snacks and candy bar … This event was one of our favorites!

And simply because these shoes were too fabulous to not share, we had to include this last shot.

  1. Congratulations to both Megan and Eric!

It was an absolutely beautiful wedding that was exquisite down to every detail. It was an honor to be a part of the day.
