The newest “it” website in the Chicago wedding world is Wedobo, and is sort of the Groupon of weddings, if you will. Every day, Wedobo offers one exclusive deal from one local wedding business, giving you the chance to save on every facet of the big day and direct access to the best vendors in town. Wedobo breaks down like this: WED and OBO. Wed is short for wedding…and obo is “or best offer.” It’s fun to say, too! It is pronounced like this: wed-doh-boh. Rolls right off the tongue.

Cynthia Rowley Launches New Bridesmaid Collection

Our friends at Bella Bridesmaid just announced they are providing dress fittings at the launch party for Cynthia Rowley’s new bridesmaids collection!

There will be passed champagne,  models showcasing the new collection and of course, your favorite Bella girls on hand to answer questions and assist with fittings, if necessary. The dresses are really wonderful.  You may even want one for yourself (think bridal shower or rehearsal dinner!).

Beautiful use of a Ribbon Broach

As some of you may recall, we gave away a beautiful Ribbon Broach a few months ago as part of our “While Drinking a Glass of Champagne” interview with Susan from The Left Bank Jewelry and Shoes.  It just so happened, that the lucky winner had a broach themed wedding!  Sarah got married in downtown Chicago and was extremely creative with her use of broaches.

It was so thoughtful of Sarah to send me a picture her beautiful bridal bouquet with the broach attached.  I really love all of their pictures, so if you want to see more check out her photographer, Janie Lucille Yoder’s blog. I think you will be happy you did!
